This Bike Park is Selling its Land, So I Visited It
Station Mountain is a downhill mountain bike park in the Austin, TX, area that was built by a teen entrepreneur and several investors. Now the investors are selling the 128 acres the park is on, and according to the owner, this was all part of the plan. Is this a good investment? I have no idea, but I'm here to check it out.

Restoring a Cheap Facebook GT - Flip Bike

In addition to the 'Bikepocalypse' causing used bike prices to drop, we've seen remarkable discounts on new bike parts. This situation has provided us with the unique opportunity to upgrade very inexpensive bikes with equally affordable parts. The REAL reason why I never wore a helmet (but do now)
Просмотров 487 тыс.4 месяца назад
I grew up riding BMX in the 90’s, and thus, I did very dangerous things with no helmet on. Later in life when riding normal bicycles in the street, I also didn’t wear a helmet. The reality was, I had survived my childhood and was now doing something far less risky, yet people would lecture me on helmet use. I also knew that many places more bicycle-forward than the USA were lax on helmets. In t...

Hi Seth, first and foremost great RUclips channel. I'm a huge fan of your content. That being said, E- bikes are probably the worst thing to happen to biking / cycling. I will be very transparent in saying that e-bikes take away from all the sweat and pain a rider as to endure to really fall in love with the sport. In addition it takes most health benefits away from biking. BIG NO NO to e-bikes. I do see a lot of excuses down below defending e-bikes, but those individuals are not true bike enthusiasts. Thank goodness that most bike parks do not allow such monstrosities on our trails.

I have been to Spider Mountain, the lift access park stated to be 15 minutes away, twice. I live in New Hampshire it is is a great destination to ride in the middle of winter to get away from cold and snow. Reveille Peak Ranch is also right in that area and another fun place to ride Texas Hill Country terrain. Spider has Container City on the backside with cool rentals made out of shipping containers. Would this be a good addition to the area or would it be squashed by the competition? Only time will tell and I wish them luck.

I have been saying for years that the one size fits all when it comes to crank length and Q factor is wrong .I switched to 155 cranks and pedal spacers on my recumbents to help with hip pain I was having on long rides, and it really helps. short cranks force you to work on your spin rather than just muscling thru climbs.

I've ridden it on some pretty gnarly stuff and it just keeps going with no sign of giving up. I actually love the ease of servicing and that i can neglect it with little worry. Of course, being so tough they are damn heavy which is noticeable when I switch to my other bike with a fox.

I don’t know what kind of e-bikes you guys have there. Here in Portugal (and Europe) the e-bikes are class 1 (only pedal assist up to 25kph) and can select no assist at all. Which makes one exercise even more (heavier bike). I usually disable assist when riding with someone using conventional bikes. A e-bike can be used as a conventional bike. But a conventional is stuck being conventional. Here, class 1 are equivalent to conventional bikes, so they can be used everywhere a conventional bicycle can be used.
